Sophie Winkler has extensive experience in insurance regulation and commercial law. Prior to founding Valucor Legal AG, she spent 4 years with Altenburger legal + tax, a law firm specializing in insurance law. In this context she also advised clients on commercial and corporate law issues. Previously she worked as a trainee and lawyer in a large commercial law firm in Zurich (2008-2012).

Already working student at Nationale Suisse, Sophie Winkler gained her first in-depth insights into the insurance and business world for 4 years (2004-2008) at her work for the Board of Directors and Compliance Office. She was also able to extend her know-how during her 8-month secondment with Zurich Insurance Company as Legal Counsel Global Life (2016).

Sophie Winkler studied at the Universities of Basel and Freiburg i.B. (2003-2007) and passed the bar exam in Zurich (2010). Further, she graduated from Columbia University, New York, in 2013 (LL.M.).
