Emre Oruc is an Actuarial Consultant at Valucor. He previously gained two years of experience as an actuary in an international audit firm, where he was primarily involved in the audit of technical reserves for property and casualty insurers as well as life insurers. In addition, he contributed to IFRS 17 reporting, SST and ORSA calculations, as well as the development of actuarial tools.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Management with specialization in Business Mathematics from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur, which forms the foundation of his strong analytical expertise. Since September 2025, he has been part of the Valucor team and is currently pursuing the actuarial qualification program of the Swiss Association of Actuaries (SAV).

At Valucor, he supports projects in the areas of SST, Solvency II, reserve calculation, and regulatory reporting.
